The Milambo Cooperative Union was registered on June 18, 2018, under registration certificate No. 5604, pursuant to the Cooperative Societies Act No. 6 of 2013 and its 2015 regulations. Milambo’s main activities include the cultivation of tobacco, cotton, cashew nuts, and other crops grown by members through the cooperative.This union was registered after member cooperatives of WETCU Ltd from the Urambo and Kaliua districts withdrew through a resolution of the 25th Annual General Meeting of WETCU Ltd held on May 7, 2018.
