As part of its core mandate, Milambo Co-operative Union actively promotes responsible agricultural labour practices in all areas of operation. This includes advocating for the elimination of child labour in farming activities, ensuring that all labour practices comply with national laws and international standards, and raising awareness among farmers, stakeholders, and the wider community about the rights and welfare of workers.

We work closely with agricultural cooperatives, local authorities, and development partners to monitor labour conditions, provide education on ethical employment practices, and support initiatives that protect vulnerable groups, particularly children, from exploitation in agricultural settings.
